FAITH IN GOD WHO TELLS US NOT TO BE AFRAID
God tells us not to be afraid amidst His presence
That asserts His victorious fluorescence
Against doubts’ attacking incense…
By faith, we trust His Word of truth’s license.
God tells us not to be afraid amidst His peace, blissfully triumphant
That exalts His name, gloriously radiant
Against fear’s gloom trying to smite what is jubilant…
By faith, we enjoy His salvation-gift, always vibrant.
God tells us not to be afraid amidst His grace
That prevails with His compassionate ways
Against hatred’s grief in running life’s race…
By faith, we seek His approval all through our days.
God tells us not to be afraid amidst His fellowship
That expresses His offered loving relationship
Against hypocrisy’s reign to ruin our partnership…
By faith, we follow His leadership in our stewardship.
God tells us not to be afraid amidst His empowerment
That reigns through His Scriptural settlement
Against fright’s misery hindering our prayer-engagement…
By faith, we rely on His strength for our ministry involvement.
God tells us not to be afraid amidst His holiness
That declares His righteousness
Against sinfulness’ filthiness and wickedness…
By faith, we depend on instruction for our service-steadfastness.
God tells us not to be afraid amidst His sovereignty
That magnifies His supreme authority
Against pride’s arrogance to provoke us to be haughty…
By faith, we surrender to His rule with sincere humility.
