FAITH IN GOD WHO TEACHES US WHAT IS RIGHT
God teaches us what is right toward our faith’s steadfastness
Amidst His radiating salvation-graciousness
With His crucifixion-power of deliverance-mightiness…
We praise Him for His triumphant gloriousness.
God teaches us what is right toward our faith’s growth from the start
Amidst His Biblical truth bringing us near to His heart
With His gift of eternal life against damnation-dart…
We praise Him for His commission, calling us to do our best part.
God teaches us what is right toward our faith’s blest guide
Amidst His leadership that breaks our stubborn pride
With His direction so we can stay on His winning side…
We praise Him for His perfect will where we should abide.
God teaches us what is right toward our faith’s good mark
Amidst His sanctification that allows testimony’s bright spark
With His forgiveness along our confessed sins of guilt’s bark…
We praise Him for His pardon exposing what we hide in the dark.
God teaches us what is right toward our faith’s cheer
Amidst His encouragement that combats evil fear
With His peace along our stewardship-gear…
We praise Him for His gladness, joyfully clear.
God teaches us what is right toward our faith’s optimization
Amidst His compassion that drives soulwinning function
With His mercy and might against persecution…
We praise Him for His provision granting us satisfaction.
God teaches us what is right toward our faith’s empowerment
Amidst His motivation driving our stewardship-commitment
With His Word always instructing us in our ministry-involvement…
We praise Him for His presence along our prayer’s fulfillment.
