FAITH IN GOD WHO TEACHES US TO TRUST HIS PROMISES
God teaches us to trust His promises with His trustworthiness
Upon faith’s strength of salvation-blessedness
While correcting our unbelief because of doubtfulness
Truly great deliverance against deceitfulness.
God teaches us to trust His promises with His redemption’s seal
Upon faith’s steadfastness of sanctification-zeal
While guiding our journey by His compassionate deal
Truly sure direction toward triumph, indeed real.
God teaches us to trust His promises with His quickening
Upon faith’s might of hope-strengthening
While reviving our spirituality for service-fastening
Truly virtuous transformation along diligent soulwinning.
God teaches us to trust His promises with His peace
Upon faith’s performance of His love that does not cease
While cheering our hearts against guilt and grief-caused disease
Truly glad encouragement as His favour we please.
God teaches us to trust His promises with His Scriptural reign
Upon faith’s enjoyment of eternal life’s gain
While molding our obedience despite offenses’ pain
Truly righteous training along trials’ terrain.
God teaches us to trust His promises with His grace
Upon faith’s duty of responsibility-brace
While conquering our fears by His mercy-filled rays
Truly answered prayer in following His ways.
God teaches us to trust His promises with His authority’s dominion
Upon faith’s increase of Bible teachings against mere human opinion
While prospering our fruitfulness in our being a servant-companion
Truly blissful partnership around His fellowship’s union.
