FAITH IN GOD WHO TAKES CARE OF US
God takes care of us and our spiritual security
By His power upholding our faith’s salvation-surety
Against weakness that brings instability
For us to keep our bodies under His authority.
God takes care of us and our redemption’s assurance
By His Word increasing our faith’s perseverance
Against temptation with alluring appearance
For us to entrust our hearts to His truth’s endurance.
God takes care of us and our sanctified blessedness
By His might strengthening our faith’s steadfastness
Against sinfulness along attacks of doubtfulness
For us to cast our unbelief while seeking His forgiveness.
God takes care of us and our fruitful stewardship
By His partnership exhorting our faith’s diligent workmanship
Against contentions that distract us in our sincere worship
For us to set our discipleship toward His guardianship.
God takes care of us and our heavenly vision
By His Scriptures enlightening our faith’s right decision
Against deceit with falsehood’s oppression
For us to yield our pride as we beseech His supervision.
God takes care of us and our eternal investment
By His divine wealth enriching our faith’s accomplishment
Against selfishness that destroys commitment
For us to surrender our personal freedom to His leadership-settlement.
God takes care of us and our prayerful plight
By His favour cheering our faith’s performance-might
Against hypocrisy with arrogance-blight
For us to offer our service for His glory’s delight.
