FAITH IN GOD WHO SHOWS US HIS WORD
God shows us His Word for our instruction
While we learn to stand with discretion
Upon our faith’s Scriptural circumspection
That keeps us following His wise direction.
God shows us His Word for service-effectiveness
While we work against slothfulness
Upon our faith’s diligent steadfastness
That moves us toward ministry-productiveness.
God shows us His Word for our help against struggle
While we come to His throne for prayer-snuggle
Upon our faith’s strong grip despite need-wiggle
That allows us for praise with thanksgiving bugle.
God shows us His Word for our selfishness-smiting
While we humble down toward carnality-melting
Upon our faith’s full reliance in Him midst divine meeting
That propels us to honour Him, His name exalting.
God shows us His Word for our guide
While we obey His statutes that conquer our pride
Upon our faith’s courageous conviction to stay on His side
That drives us for submission while in His will we abide.
God shows us His Word for our righteous posture
While we wear standards of holiness-vesture
Upon our faith’s sincere worship against hypocrisy’s torture
That encloses us around His fellowship with love’s gesture.
God shows us His Word for our heavenly achievement
While we apply His principles with commitment
Upon our faith’s earnest devotion for discipleship-involvement
That empowers us toward His kingdom advancement.
