FAITH IN GOD WHO SHOWS US HIS GREATNESS
God shows us His greatness through His magnificent name
For us to call unto Him, believing His sovereign fame
In His promised answer we can prayerfully claim
Letting our faith shine in His righteousness’ flame.
God shows us His greatness through His salvation-enclosure
For us to understand His eternal life’s treasure
In His granted redemption, verily sure
Letting our faith behold His lovingkindness of divine pleasure.
God shows us His greatness through His Biblical instruction
For us to hearken unto His voice of prudent direction
In His statutes exhorting us toward daily sanctification
Letting our faith thrive in doing His will by His admonition.
God shows us His greatness through His wise commandment
For us to trust in heart our courage against fear’s detriment
In His peace that quiets hatred’s provocation-bombardment
Letting our faith increase by His Word for our spiritual commitment.
God shows us His greatness through His protection-safety
For us to abide dwell in His counsel of covenant-certainty
In His goodness of constantly assured security
Letting our faith leave sin’s captivity, devoid of joy’s serenity.
God shows us His greatness through His sacrificial performance
For us to obey Him, surrendering our arrogance
In His call of servanthood with ministry-endurance
Letting our faith submit to His rule along His mercy’s attendance.
God shows us His greatness through His kingdom’s dominion
For us to praise Him as look forward to His glory in Jerusalem’s Zion
In His freedom of genuine liberty against humanistic opinion
Letting our faith radiate in our anticipated heavenly reunion.
