November 15 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Acts 7-8
Key Verse – Acts 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God.
FAITH IN GOD WHO SHOWS US HIS GLORY
God shows us His glory by faith’s sight
Along His Scriptural light, radiantly bright
While we read His Word for trust’s increasing might
And meditate His law with worshipful delight.
God shows us His glory by faith’s victory
Along His mercies since we are saved from hell’s fury
While we declare the Gospel story
And advance His heavenly kingdom’s territory.
God shows us His glory by faith’s steadfastness
Along His pardon, purging us by His cleansing forgiveness
While we confess our sinfulness and selfishness
And abide in His sanctifying righteousness.
God shows us His glory by faith’s certainty
Along His protection from destruction-caused iniquity
While we accept His admonition against being haughty
And stay humble, surrendered to His authority.
God shows us His glory by faith’s vision
Along His eternal redemption offered through His compassion
While thank Him for salvation’s provision
And do our part in fulfilling the great commission.
God shows us His glory by faith’s engagement
Along His wisdom that leads us toward church ministry-involvement
While we learn from His exhortation and encouragement
And serve Him willingly amidst our sincere commitment.
God shows us His glory by faith’s triumph with His peace
Along His grace bringing us serenity from worry’s crease
While we seek Him always through His kindness that does not cease
And experience revival-fellowship with Him of restoration-freedom release.
