FAITH IN GOD WHO SHOWS HIS MIGHTY POWER
God shows His mighty power midst His loving kindness
Along His compassion as well as graciousness
For us to praise Him for His goodness
With our faith’s gratitude to Him and His greatness.
God shows His mighty power midst His triumphant glory
Along His magnificence as well as victory
For us to exalt Him for His eternal kingdom territory
With our faith’s obedience to Him in proclaiming His Gospel story.
God shows His mighty power midst His ready ministering
Along His reaching-out as well as spiritual nurturing
For us to thank Him for His gift of salvation-rearing
With our faith’s submission to Him toward our service-gearing.
God shows His mighty power midst His sovereign leadership
Along His authority as well as kingship
For us to abide in Him for His fellowship in our stewardship
With our faith’s discipleship by Him around His partnership.
God shows His mighty power midst His blessed serenity
Along His peace as well as blissful security
For us to depend on Him for His assurance of steadfast intensity
With our faith’s trust in Him against distress and infirmity.
God shows His mighty power midst His comforting care
Along His presence as well as gentle stare
For us to seek Him for His guidance in our welfare
With our faith’s reliance on Him in times of panic and scare.
God shows His mighty power midst His tender mercy
Along His patience as well as pardon’s fervency
For us to honour Him for His forgiveness despite our inconsistency
With our faith’s commitment to Him with devotion’s persistency.
