FAITH IN GOD WHO SEARCHES AND SEEKS US OUT AS HIS SHEEP
God searches and seeks us out as His sheep with His eternal salvation
While granting us faith to trust His gift of redemption
For us to believe His Word for our new-creation
Along His power toward our transformation.
God searches and seeks us out as His sheep with His lovingkindness
While moving our faith by His graciousness
For us to depend on Him always for our forgiveness
Along His sanctifying goodness.
God searches and seeks us out as His sheep with His sovereignty
While guarding our faith by His security
For us to overcome our weakness and frailty
Along His compassionate authority.
God searches and seeks us out as His sheep with His girding
While protecting our faith by His Scriptures’ upholding
For us to submit to Him in our holiness-treading
Along His guidance for our virtuous life-building.
God searches and seeks us out as His sheep with His hand
While nurturing our faith by His command
For us to reach victoriously His promised land
Along His Word that props our steadfast commitment-stand.
God searches and seeks us out as His sheep with His light
While illumining our faith by His vision of divine sight
For us to conquer pride of towering height
Along His truth for our discipleship-delight.
God searches and seeks us out as His sheep with His mercy
While leading our faith toward stewardship’s persistency
For us to serve Him well midst prayer-fervency
Along His assurance anchored by Biblical prophecy.
