FAITH IN GOD WHO SAVES AND STRENGTHENS US
God saves and strengthens us with His ready deliverance
Away from slaying sins and their destructive perseverance
For us to stay steadfast by His redemption-assurance
And be free from hell’s wrath through faith’s endurance.
God saves and strengthens us with His forgiveness
Away from guilt, causing disturbance in our soul’s calmness
For us to settle upon His compassion’s graciousness
And be secured in His care through faith’s steadfastness.
God saves and strengthens us with His gladness-enclosure
Away from sad report of gloomy pressure
For us to invest in His work midst heavenly treasure
And be joyful to do His will through faith’s divine pleasure.
God saves and strengthens us with His fatherly kingship
Away from spoilage of idolatrous worship
For us to follow sincerely His leadership
And be diligent in serving Him through free faith’s stewardship.
God saves and strengthens us with His Scriptural wisdom
Away from ignorance of foolish stardom
For us to prioritize His eternal kingdom
And be victorious in obeying Him through faith’s genuine freedom.
God saves and strengthens us with His divine might
Away from downfall because of sinfulness-blight
For us to gear toward what is true and right
And be honest in our dealings through faith’s insight.
God saves and strengthens us with His mercy
Away from frustrations due to doubts’ redundancy
For us to cleave to His grace of goodness-sufficiency
And be abundant in sharing His blessings through faith’s persistency.
