FAITH IN GOD WHO SANCTIFIES US WHILE WE CRY UNTO HIM
God sanctifies us while we cry unto Him midst His truth’s voice
That awakens us from our disobedience which is a wrong choice---
We seek His compassion for our faith to rejoice
In His holiness toward our saintly poise.
God sanctifies us while we cry unto Him midst His instruction
That teaches us to abide in His constant purification---
We stay in His will for our faith to combat deception
In His Word along His right direction.
God sanctifies us while we cry unto Him midst His divine alarm
That warns us against our slothfulness that gives us harm---
We trust His assurance for our faith to overcome worldly charm
In His virtues toward heavenly treasures beyond rich earthly farm.
God sanctifies us while we cry unto Him midst His care
That exhorts us to serve Him while His Gospel we share---
We pray for His might for our faith to thrive along peaceful welfare
In His power to stand midst spiritual warfare.
God sanctifies us while we cry unto Him midst His grace
That strengthens us as we run the Christian race---
We cling to His mercy for our faith to increase always
In His victory all through the days.
God sanctifies us while we cry unto Him midst His comfort
That secures us from any evil and wicked report---
We have His protection for our faith to fight sin’s cohort
In His safeguard upon His fortress-court.
God sanctifies us while we cry unto Him midst His lovingkindness
That teaches us His principles of Scriptural worthiness---
We learn from His statutes for our faith to live with purposefulness
In His leadership toward our triumphant gratefulness.
