FAITH IN GOD WHO PUTS GOOD DESIRES INTO OUR HEARTS God puts good desires into our hearts by His graciousness While He checks our motive’s sincere steadfastness With His holiness toward our forgiveness That upholds our faith’s righteousness. God puts good desires into our hearts by His sovereignty While He pardons our confessed iniquity With His loving kindness of great bounty That upholds our faith’s intensity. God puts good desires into our hearts by His direction While He guards our intents along His instruction With His purging and sanctification That reinforces our faith’s protection. God puts good desires into our hearts by His timely granting While He governs our steps midst trial and testing With His purpose which needs our patient waiting That brightens our faith’s perfecting. God puts good desires into our hearts by His pleasure While He seeks our spirituality for heavenly treasure With His wisdom to choose despite any pressure That increases our faith’s divine measure. God puts good desires into our hearts by His choice While He leads our decision to rejoice With His victory against pride’s noise That settles our faith’s Biblical poise. God puts good desires into our hearts by His excellence While He secures our salvation with truth’s prevalence With His power’s might and mercy’s opulence That drives our faith’s performance against indolence.
