FAITH IN GOD WHO PERFORMS A GOOD WORK IN US

December 11 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Philippians 1-4

Key Verse – Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

FAITH IN GOD WHO PERFORMS A GOOD WORK IN US God performs a good work in us for our faith’s righteous living To overcome carnality’s conniving… In our helpless, sorrowful, deep grieving His presence draws us near for triumphant cleaving. God performs a good work in us for our faith’s bright glow To conquer worldly enticements giving us pain and woe… In our moments of temptations along distress’ sorrow His help delivers us toward jubilant tomorrow. God performs a good work in us for our faith’s holy influence To smite arrogance of wealth and affluence… In our vain glorying’s incongruence His standard abases us of our pride-driven experience. God performs a good work in us for our faith’s thankful praising To evade celebrations of humanistic appraising… In our pressures that are afflictively harassing His strength upholds us with His firm raising. God performs a good work in us for our faith’s powerful performance To stay strong midst doubts’ questioning attendance… In our hardships showing impossibilities’ appearance His Word pulls us toward His promises’ assurance. God performs a good work in us for our faith’s diligent discipleship To rule over slothfulness that hinders our stewardship… In our mediocrity of wishy-washy ministry-internship His reproof keeps us working well through His leadership. God performs a good work in us for our faith’s fruitful victory To stand again from downfalls around disobedience-periphery… In our desperation caused by service-failures’ injury His triumph prods us to warn others against hell’s fury.
