FAITH IN GOD WHO MOVES US TO LOVE HIM
God moves us to love Him with His grace
While He secures us in His salvation in His embrace
Always turning our hearts toward His face
So that by faith, we can continue to win in life’s race.
God moves us to love Him with His compassion
While He cleanses us for our sanctification
Always working for our genuine conversion
So that by faith, we can follow His direction.
God moves us to love Him with His forgiveness
As He pardons us of our confessed sinfulness
Always purifying our souls from wickedness
So that by faith, we can stay in His goodness.
God moves us to love Him with His teaching
As He instructs us to abide by His watching
Always warning our choices against worldliness-pitching
So that by faith, we can pursue toward trust-stretching.
God moves us to love Him with His commitment
As He illumines us by His Word’s enlightenment
Always inspiring our Bible study midst His fulfillment
So that by faith, we can enjoy our discipleship involvement.
God moves us to love Him with His righteousness-fight
As He enables us toward holiness’ flight
Always driving our desire for ministry-height
So that by faith, we can persist in our prayer-might.
God moves us to love Him with His counsel
As He makes us wise through His epistle
Always checking our motives from humanistic hassle
So that by faith, we can abide in His truth’s castle.
