FAITH IN GOD WHO MAGNIFIES US BY HIS STRENGTH
God magnifies us by His strength against wickedness
While hedging us from guiltiness in our confession-earnestness
To smite our fears causing sadness and gloominess
So that we can triumph by faith’s steadfastness.
God magnifies us by His strength against falsehood-walking
While moving us toward service of dedicated working
To uphold our diligence from slothfulness-wrecking
So that we can continue by faith’s performance despite mocking.
God magnifies us by His strength against failure-embrace
While comforting us with His inspiring grace
To brighten our days through hope’s wondrous ways
So that we can rejoice by faith’s gladness for His praise.
God magnifies us by His strength against frustration-sorrow
While preventing us from losses of tomorrow
To cheer our hearts, overcoming painful woe
So that we can stand by faith’s might from evil’s arrow.
God magnifies us by His strength against misery
While upholding us from attacks of anxiety and worry
To uplift our souls for service and ministry’s glory
So that we can persist by faith’s victory.
God magnifies us by His strength against trial’s pain
While delivering us from worldliness-domain
To fortify our spirituality toward soulwinning terrain
So that we can persevere by faith’s labour, never in vain.
God magnifies us by His strength against temptation-pressure
While preserving us from breakdown of challenges beyond measure
To reinforce our commitment through His Scriptures that assure
So that we can prevail by faith’s security of divine composure.
