Key Verse – Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
FAITH IN GOD WHO IS WITH US WHEREVER WE GO
God is with us wherever we go along His goodness
Surely instilling in us reverential fear of graciousness
While strengthening our faith’s steadfastness
For courageous walk against hopelessness.
God is with us wherever we go along His salvation-joy
Surely gladdening us to be a blessing to every girl or boy
While cheering our faith’s glow against doubts that destroy
For jubilant soulwinning that His mercies employ.
God is with us wherever we go along His holiness-fight
Surely teaching us to stay in His light
While instructing our faith’s knowledge of Bible delight
For Scriptural doctrine against deceitful blight.
God is with us wherever we go along His ruling
Surely guiding us by His wise dealing
While governing our faith’s direction-propelling
For favourable works through the Holy Spirit’s filling.
God is with us wherever we go along His reign
Surely enabling us to follow Him despite trials’ pain
While increasing our faith’s effectiveness-gain
For productive service upon stewardship-terrain.
God is with us wherever we go along His ushering hand
Surely bringing us toward the promised land
While securing our faith’s doctrinal stand
For obedient followership by His command.
God is with us wherever we go along His love indeed
Surely providing for us, meeting our need
While supplying our faith’s contentment against greed
For generous sharing toward compassionate caring breed.
