FAITH IN GOD WHO IS WITH US
God is with us along His safeguarding protection
Midst His ready peaceful restoration
That encloses us and our faith around His compassion
Away from devastation of transgression.
God is with us along His refreshing goodness
Midst His replenishing graciousness
That sustains us and our faith by His loving kindness
Away from emptiness of vain worldliness.
God is with us along His satisfying contentment
Midst His provision’s fulfillment
That strengthens us and our faith by His encouragement
Away from detriment of achievement with arrogant settlement.
God is with us along His caring mercy
Midst His forgiveness-sufficiency
That brings us and our faith toward prayer-fervency
Away from unbelief and doubts’ persistency.
God is with us along His guiding hand
Midst His leadership toward promised land
That directs us and our faith by His Scriptural command
Away from disobedience of selfishness-demand.
God is with us along His cheering touch
Midst His presence we always need from carnality’s clutch
That keeps us and our faith toward cleaving to Him so much
Away from worries, anxieties with despair-crutch.
God is with us along His truth-light
Midst His victory for our stewardship delight
That empowers us and our faith in our service-height
Away from unproductiveness due to slothfulness’ blight.
