FAITH IN GOD WHO IS OUR POWER
God is our power toward our redemption’s fulfillment
Indeed, great as He ransomed us from hell’s punishment
With His sacrifice for our salvation-accomplishment…
Now, we put away ungodliness through faith’s commitment.
God is our power toward our sanctification
Indeed, awesome as He cleanses us from sin’s corruption
With His righteousness for our justification…
Now, we live holy through faith’s trust in Christ’s resurrection.
God is our power toward walking in His light
Indeed, bright as He leads us to do what is right
With His Scriptures for our truth-teaching delight…
Now, we grow in His grace through faith’s might.
God is our power toward doing our best by His goodness
Indeed, marvelous as He upholds us in our prayer-earnestness
With His answers for our stewardship-fruitfulness…
Now, we serve Him through faith’s effectiveness.
God is our power toward obeying His command
Indeed, honourable as He frees us midst liberty’s demand
With His compassion for our heavenly future so grand…
Now, we follow Him through faith’s work by His helping hand.
God is our power toward our triumphant soulwinning
Indeed, victorious as He transforms us along His divine fashioning
With His virtues for our character-refining…
Now, we stay in His perfect will through faith’s trial and training.
God is our power toward exercising Biblical charity
Indeed, pleasant as He shows His loving authority
With His example for our eternal security…
Now, we glorify Him through faith’s practice of humility.
