FAITH IN GOD WHO IS GRACIOUS TO US
God is gracious to us, meeting us in our prayer closet
Where He listens to our requests midst faith’s asset…
We thank Him for upholding us against unbelief’s threat
So that we can trust Him always, not to fret.
God is gracious to us, securing us in our salvation-dwelling
Where He assures our souls midst faith’s divine filling…
We beseech Him as in His will we are dwelling
So that we can seek Him always, in Him continually calling.
God is gracious to us, strengthening us in our service-commitment
Where He guards our conviction midst faith’s settlement…
We come to Him against doubt-caused detriment
So that we can honour Him always in our ministry-involvement.
God is gracious to us, caring for us in our sin-sickness
Where He heals our guilt midst faith’s confession for forgiveness…
We exalt Him for transforming us by His wondrousness
So that we can praise Him always in our joyfulness.
God is gracious to us, supporting us in our stewardship-threshold
Where He reigns over our obedience midst faith’s work as gold…
We cling to Him while His miracles we behold
So that we can win through Him always against carnality’s stronghold.
God is gracious to us, guiding us in our righteousness-walking
Where He leads our steps midst faith’s undertaking…
We rest in Him against worldliness-pricking
So that we can focus on Him always against what is lacking.
God is gracious to us, sheltering us in our sanctification
Where He cleanses our hearts midst faith’s purification…
We abide in Him, enjoying His kindness in our devotion
So that we can esteem Him always in our transformation.
