FAITH IN GOD WHO INCREASES OUR FAITH
God increases our faith as He pardons our confessed sin
That we cast to Him, humbled from pride’s din…
Indeed, we repent from worldliness’ spin
While walking along His holiness so we can righteously win.
God increases our faith as He purges our defilement
That we admit with humble acknowledgment…
Indeed, we promise to Him our genuine commitment
While abiding in His ways with joyous contentment.
God increases our faith as He cleanses our trespass
That we tell Him which He does encompass…
Indeed, we beg that guilty feelings will soon come to pass
While moving forward by His Word as our compass.
God increases our faith as He forgives our iniquity
That we admit before Him with wholehearted honesty…
Indeed, we need His sanctification’s authority
While staying in His will’s sovereignty.
God increases our faith as He blots out our transgression
That we bring to His mercy’s attention along heavenly vision…
Indeed, we plead for restoration as well as strength-provision
While doing our part in the Great Commission.
God increases our faith as He purifies our wickedness-stain
That we entreat for His washing against errors’ grain…
Indeed, we beseech for the healing of our spiritual pain
While persevering for good testimony’s gain.
God increases our faith as He disciplines our foolishness
That we confide to Him with surrendered meekness…
Indeed, we cling to His graciousness
While striving for joyful service-productiveness.
