FAITH IN GOD WHO HEARKENS
UNTO OUR CRY AND PRAYER
God hearkens to our cry and prayer for our deliverance
Letting us remain inside His will of eternal assurance
Keeping us in His reigning faith-upheld endurance
In our commitment with sincere perseverance.
God hearkens to our cry and prayer for our healing from sin-sickness
Letting us sanctified by His forgiveness
Keeping us in His reviving faith-empowering steadfastness
In our recovery against spiritual illness midst weariness.
God hearkens to our cry and prayer for our guidance to do what is right
Letting us sacrifice through His commandment’s might
Keeping us in His enabling faith-driven flight
In our obedience along righteousness’ light.
God hearkens to our cry and prayer for our need of His mercy
Letting us trust Him for His provisions’ sufficiency
Keeping us in His propelling faith-strengthened persistency
In our diligence to serve Him with decency.
God hearkens to our cry and prayer for our divine freedom
Letting us promote His heavenly kingdom
Keeping us in His enriching faith-treasure of Biblical wisdom
In our service with humility against worldly stardom.
God hearkens to our cry and prayer for our triumphant stand
Letting us combat enemies by His governing hand
Keeping us in His saving faith-secured purpose, grandly planned
In our battle midst His holiness toward promised land.
God hearkens to our cry and prayer for our peaceful end
Letting us thank His compassion He does extend
Keeping us in His winning faith-commended blend
In our devotion as to Him we depend.
