FAITH IN GOD WHO HAS MERCY UPON US
God has mercy upon us along with His salvation-commitment
Always safeguarding us by His redemption’s settlement
Toward our faith’s steadfast establishment
Amidst His strengthening fulfillment.
God has mercy upon us along with His cleansing sanctification
Always forgiving us in our sin-confession for His purification
Toward our faith’s righteousness of holy action
Amidst His purging function.
God has mercy upon us along with His Scripture-preaching
Always guiding us through His Biblical teaching
Toward our faith’s service and out-reaching
Amidst His truth for motive-searching.
God has mercy upon us along with His instructing knowledge
Always asserting to us His wisdom we must acknowledge
Toward our faith’s increase of divine privilege
Amidst His favour for our heavenly mileage.
God has mercy upon us along with His lovingkindness
Always cheering for us in our fearfulness
Toward our faith’s prayerful eagerness
Amidst His answers of graciousness.
God has mercy upon us along with His eternal security
Always protecting us by His sovereign authority
Toward our faith’s venture of diligent duty
Amidst His commission’s certainty.
God has mercy upon us along with His triumphant hope
Always comforting us against worry, woe, pain-slope
Toward our faith’s courage while in trials we cope
Amidst His power of mighty scope.
