FAITH IN GOD WHO HAS LAID THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH
God has laid the foundation of the earth by His Word
Surely precious for its eternal record we have heard
Thus, we can learn from what has been heavenly offered
With faith along His chronicles of mighty acts that divinely occurred.
God has laid the foundation of the earth by His might
Surely omnipotent for our salvation against condemnation-blight
Thus, we can worship Him with sincerity’s delight
With faith along His declarations of wise Biblical insight
God has laid the foundation of the earth by His ordinance
Surely supreme of sovereign elegance
Thus, we can do His will while His kingdom we have a part to advance
With faith along His provisions' sustenance.
God has laid the foundation of the earth by His decree
Surely authoritative to which we must agree
Thus, we can grow spiritually as His planted tree
With faith along His salvation so graciously free.
God has laid the foundation of the earth by His law
Surely true devoid of any flaw
Thus, we can overcome within His guardianship from foes’ claw
With faith along His protection against evil’s paw.
God has laid the foundation of the earth by His precept
Surely perfect we ought to accept
Thus, we can apply His truth midst deceit and falsities trying to intercept
With faith along His wisdom that deals with our doubt and “except.”
God has laid the foundation of the earth by His sovereignty
Surely supreme that vanquishes guilt of iniquity
Thus, we can bring our offerings along worshipful sincerity
With faith along His command to serve Him midst willingness' certainty.
