FAITH IN GOD WHO GIVES US ETERNAL LIFE
God gives us eternal life with His grace
Forever abounding against sinfulness-trace
Always available toward heaven’s eternal place
Through our faith upon His salvation-brace.
God gives us eternal life with His victory
Forever triumphant against hell’s fury
Always radiant toward joyous glory
Through our faith upon His Gospel story.
God gives us eternal life with His wondrousness
Forever marvelous against vain boastfulness
Always magnificent toward gratitude’s earnestness
Through our faith upon His redemption-greatness.
God gives us eternal life with His might
Forever omnipotent against doubtfulness-blight
Always powerful toward prayer’s flight
Through our faith upon His answers to our supplication-plight.
God gives us eternal life with His mercy
Forever steadfast against unbelief’s complacency
Always hopeful toward stewardship’s fervency
Through our faith upon His truth despite fallacy.
God gives us eternal life with His compassion
Forever unconditional against hatred-caused perversion
Always helpful toward servanthood’s commission
Through our faith upon His love with divine vision.
God gives us eternal life with His assurance
Forever wise against carnal temperance
Always Scriptural toward worshipful perseverance
Through our faith upon His Word of everlasting endurance.
