FAITH IN GOD WHO GIVES ETERNAL LIFE
God gives eternal life by His light
Thankful are we to Him for salvation’s everlasting might
Letting our faith abide in His Word’s delight
To witness His miracles, wondrously right.
God gives eternal life by His Word’s immutability
Thankful are we to Him for redemption’s surety
Letting our faith conquer deceit and falsity
To testify about His power of sovereign authority.
God gives eternal life by His lovingkindness
Thankful are we to Him for re-creation’s greatness
Letting our faith increase in His truthfulness
To declare His Gospel against hell’s awfulness.
God gives eternal life by the Holy Ghost
Thankful are we to Him for seeking us who are lost
Letting our faith trust His sacrifice-cost
To praise Him always, first and foremost.
God gives eternal life by His regeneration-act
Thankful are we to Him for justification, divinely exact
Letting our faith triumph by Scriptural wisdom-fact
To become victorious in serving Him midst obedience-impact.
God gives eternal life by His compassion’s gift
Thankful are we to Him for sanctification’s uplift
Letting our faith soar high and never drift
To continue by His guidance against unbelief’s rift.
God gives eternal life by His offered relationship
Thankful are we to Him for His sweet fellowship
Letting our faith follow His leadership
To worship Him while enjoying His ministry-partnership.
