FAITH IN GOD WHO GIRDS US BY HIS LOVE
God girds us by His love as His children with His grace
While securing us in running victoriously the Christian race
And upholding our faith upon Scriptures’ brace
To build us to live Him for Him according to His ways.
God girds us by His love as His believers with His might
While prevailing over us with His peace, perfectly right
And strengthening our faith toward heavenly flight
To establish us to walk not by carnal sight.
God girds us by His love as His servants with His command
While guiding us along His truth’s virtuous demand
And directing our faith for His promised land
To enable us to serve Him well as He planned.
God girds us by His love as His redeemed creation
While leading us toward paths of sanctification
And challenging our faith along Biblical transformation
To show us His miracles for Him exaltation.
God girds us by His love as His followers
While teaching us through His Word against evil blowers
And blessing our faith, making us good works’ doers
To drive us to continue in His will in being Gospel seed sowers.
God girds us by His love as His fellow labourers in His kingdom
While inspiring us to rejoice with His granted eternal freedom
And driving our faith along His wisdom
To conquer us of our pride against vain humanistic stardom.
God girds us by His love as His saved to fulfill our stewardship
While nourishing us in His Biblical discipleship
And preserving our faith around His fellowship
To keep us in His partnership for spiritual worship.
