FAITH IN GOD WHO ENABLES HONOURABLE LIFE
God enables our lives to be honourable by His leadership
In fighting vain pleasure of worldliness-partnership
As He deals with us through His fruitful workmanship
With faith’s discipleship in His fellowship for vibrant worship.
God enables our lives to be honourable by His divine treasure
In overcoming material riches that bring stressful pressure
As He builds us up for spiritual wealth He does assure
With faith’s trust in His provisions beyond earthly measure.
God enables our lives to be honourable by His reward
In overtaking personal accomplishment and award
As He checks our motives as His diligent steward
With faith’s perseverance to do best today and onward.
God enables our lives to be honourable by His satisfaction
In conquering struggles against discontentment-reaction
As He fills our need with His joy of eternal salvation
With faith’s obedience to His Biblical instruction.
God enables our lives to be honourable by His wisdom
In surmounting attacks of folly causing our boredom
As He teaches us His truths for our genuine freedom
With faith’s persistence to help advance His kingdom.
God enables our lives to be honourable by His commandment
In forgiving confessed sins that hinder achievement
As He disciplines us toward transformation-settlement
With faith’s commitment toward great commission-fulfillment.
God enables our lives to be honourable by His wonderfulness
In subduing ingratitude of carnality’s filthiness
As He sanctifies us by His forgiveness for our righteousness
With faith’s prayer to serve in His holiness.
