FAITH IN GOD WHO EMPOWERS US
TO MINISTER UNTO HIM
God empowers us to minister unto Him by His redemption
We thank Him for His granted eternal salvation
That secures us through His power of regeneration…
Here we are with our faith, trusting His instruction.
God empowers us to minister unto Him by His encouragement
We thank Him for His counsel’s enlightenment
That strengthens us against reproaches’ detriment…
Here we are with our faith, acknowledging His wisdom-bestowment.
God empowers us to minister unto Him by His faithfulness
We thank Him for His abundant graciousness
That builds us to have heart of submissiveness…
Here we are with our faith, yielding to His watchfulness.
God empowers us to minister unto Him by His teaching
We thank Him for His truth emphasized through preaching
That calms us down and our fears midst peace-searching…
Here we are with our faith, serving midst prayer-beseeching.
God empowers us to minister unto Him by His light
We thank Him for His direction toward doing what is right
That upholds against deceptive insight…
Here we are with our faith, praising Him along worship-delight.
God empowers us to minister unto Him by His mercy
We thank Him for His forgiveness of kindness-fervency
That sanctifies us in confessing sins with His clemency…
Here we are with our faith, striving for orderliness and decency.
God empowers us to minister unto Him by His sustenance
We thank Him for His provisions’ abundance
That keeps us dependent on Him against arrogance…
Here we are with our faith, rejoicing in His assurance.
