FAITH IN GOD WHO EMPOWERS US TO DO HIS WILL
God empowers us to do His will as we thank Him for His gift
Such assures us our eternal salvation of soul’s uplift
Verily great against hell’s penalty-rift
Toward faith’s work along heavenly lift.
God empowers us to do His will as we delight in His joy
Such subdues our problems, fears and guilt that annoy
Verily glad along prayer and supplication’s convoy
Toward faith’s performance for His labour we can employ.
God empowers us to do His will as we obey His instruction
Such helps us for our miraculous transformation
Verily ready along our revival and rejuvenation
Toward faith’s action along His direction.
God empowers us to do His will as we trust His promises
Such aid us claim His forgiveness that cleanses
Verily steadfast throughout all ages
Toward faith’s courage against doubt-surges.
God empowers us to do His will as we listen to His counsel
Such guides us in learning along life’s challenging hassle
Verily wise to teach us vanquish vain worldliness-bustle
Toward faith’s endurance in building divine testimony-castle.
God empowers us to do His will as we wait for His coming
Such drives us for faithful service and Gospel-proclaiming
Verily true to check us against selfishness and others’ blaming
Toward faith’s excitement around blest fellowship that is heart-warming.
God empowers us to do His will as we praise Him for His Scriptures
Such teach us to manifest compassionate gestures
Verily holy in every angle against haughty postures
Toward’s faith victory in serving Him midst His wondrous ventures.
