FAITH IN GOD WHO DRAWS US TO COME NEAR TO HIM
God draws us to come near to Him and His goodness
Where He lengthens our patience by His graciousness
For our faith to settle upon His truthfulness
Along His redemption-seal of serene blissfulness.
God draws us to come near to Him and His ministering
Where He blesses our labour by His nurturing
For our faith to cleave to His shepherding and rearing
Along His holiness separating us from selfish gearing.
God draws us to come near to Him and His glory
Where He enlightens our vision by His Gospel story
For our faith to dwell in His victory
Along His truth enclosing us around His territory.
God draws us to come near to Him and His sanctification
Where He forgives our confessed sins by His purification
For our faith to increase toward humble consecration
Along His favour midst our earnest dedication.
God draws us to come near to Him and His fellowship
Where He cheers our stewardship by His partnership
For our faith to keep on following His leadership
Along His discipleship toward our sincere worship.
God draws us to come near to Him and His fulfillment
Where He drives our devotion His achievement
For our faith to abide in His establishment
Along His favour that fortifies our commitment.
God draws us to come near to Him and His light
Where He illumines our minds by His wisdom’s insight
For our faith to keep on doing what is right
Along His mercy while we serve with thanksgiving delight.
