FAITH IN GOD WHO DESERVES OUR OFFERING
February 1 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 1-4
Key Verse – Leviticus 1:17 … It is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
FAITH IN GOD WHO DESERVES OUR OFFERING
God deserves our offering according to His Word we must obey
Now, we seek His pardon for not doing the right way
As well as His grace to perform His command without delay---
By faith, in His plan we always stay.
God deserves our offering we must present to His altar
Now, we sacrifice with our heart near, never to be far
As well as His mercy to humble down against feeling like a star---
By faith, to His might we cling midst holiness-war.
God deserves our offering with His counsel we must follow
Now, we walk along His steps as we spiritually grow
As well as His love that smites bitterness’ woe---
By faith, upon His revival we shine and glow.
God deserves our offering by His admonition we must hear
Now, we ask forgiveness for our sins with our sincere tear
As well as His compassion to give us listening ear---
By faith, to His control we yield and His meekness we wear.
God deserves our offering through His commands we must fulfill
Now, we ascend toward His standard hill
As well as to His calling for service in His perfect will---
By faith, in His restoration we remain joyfully still.
God deserves our offering along His wisdom we must keep
Now, we submit to His leadership for our divine leap
As well as to His guidance so as not to fall into misery so deep---
By faith, in His compassion we cleave while from despair we weep.
God deserves our offering while His authority we must recognize
Now, we abide in designated places He does authorize
As well as in His great commission Scriptures advertize---
By faith, His favour we pray for as His work we gratefully patronize.
