FAITH IN GOD WHO DELIGHTS IN US
God delights in us, blessing us with His bountiful goodness
Along His grant of salvation’s preciousness
By His grace in our pursuit for righteousness
Toward perfection through faith’s firmness.
God delights in us, comforting us with His care
Along His peace which we can share
By His assurance in conquering our fear’s scare
Toward joyousness through faith’s zeal around His welfare.
God delights in us, enabling us with His nurturing
Along His commandment for our Scriptural rearing
By His instruction in our willing offering
Toward sacrifice through faith’s increase and work’s soaring.
God delights in us, leading us with His Word
Along His counsel against unbelief-discord
By His wisdom to fight falsity using the Spirit’s sword
Toward discipleship through faith’s triumph, greatly honoured.
God delights in us, gripping us with His compassion
Along His mercy of His kindness’ persuasion
By His love in our service against pride’s oppression
Toward mission-involvement through faith’s vision.
God delights in us, overcoming our pain with His healing
Along His forgiveness of sanctification-sealing
By His promises against unbelief’s fueling
Toward security through faith’s settlement from failing.
God delights in us, enriching us with His divine treasure
Along His gifts around His fellowship’s pleasure
By His provisions against scarcity-pressure
Toward worshipful praise through faith’s grand measure.
