Key Verse – Psalms 1:1-2 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
FAITH IN GOD WHO BLESSES US AS WE DELIGHT IN HIM
God blesses us as we delight in Him with our labour’s zest
Upon His power that drives our faith for servanthood so blest
Around His partnership conquering every test
Away from shame brought by slothfulness-pest.
God blesses us as we delight in Him with our love’s might
Upon His compassion that propels our faith to do what is right
Around His goodness as we walk in the light
Away from hatred of bitterness-blight.
God blesses us as we delight in Him with our Biblical conviction
Upon His Word that increases our faith against affliction
Around His truth guarding us against deception
Away from folly that invites destruction.
God blesses us as we delight in Him with our trust’s victory
Upon His mercy that guards our faith against worry
Around His salvation of redemption’s glory
Away from hell where there is eternal misery.
God blesses us as we delight in Him with our pleasant behaviour
Upon His virtue that values our faith granted by our Saviour
Around His power to fulfill great commission endeavour
Away from sorrow conquered by His joy-packed fervour.
God blesses us as we delight in Him with our grace-filled ways
Upon His goodness that inspires our faith all the days
Around His kindness of blissful serene rays
Away from gloom where despair stays.
God blesses us as we delight in Him with our gratitude
Upon His leadership that directs our faith for stewardship’s altitude
Around His favour as we obey His will along obedient attitude
Away from dismay since we believe in His commendation-magnitude.
