August 28 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Lamentations 1-3
Key Verse – Lamentations 1:9 … O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself.
FAITH IN GOD WHO BEHOLDS OUR AFFLICTION
God beholds our affliction midst His compassion
He is ready to help us against doubt-caused oppression
We then must trust Him with heavenly vision
By faith that settles us along His timely provision.
God beholds our affliction midst His goodness
He is near to draw us toward His graciousness
We then must seek Him and His righteousness
By faith that upholds us for our walk of holiness.
God beholds our affliction midst His caring
He is kind to comfort us from fear’s tearing
We then must come to Him for His covering
By faith that nurtures us upon His Scriptural gearing.
God beholds our affliction midst His security
He is loving to protect us against infirmity
We then must depend on Him for His authority
By faith that works in us to serve Him with sincerity.
God beholds our affliction midst His guidance
He is wise to teach us to overcome ignorance
We then must learn from Him without arrogance
By faith that disciples us along diligent perseverance.
God beholds our affliction midst His light
He is victorious to make us win against transgressions’ blight
We then must abide in Him, showing spiritual delight
By faith that delivers us against unbelief’s fight.
God beholds our affliction midst His warning
He is pure to cleanse us from our confessed sinning
We then must submit to Him for sanctification and cleaning
By faith that testifies about His kingdom of triumphant reigning.
