God assures us His peace despite anguish of sinfulness
By His grace through His Gospel’s gloriousness…
Let us seek to please Him as His servants of righteousness
Along faith that certifies our salvation’s preciousness.
God assures us His peace despite deadness of false religion
By His truth for us to abide in genuine spiritual region…
Let us behold Him with trust since He is the perfect heart surgeon
Along faith that vanquishes doubts’ legion.
God assures us His peace despite worthlessness of vanity
By His Word bringing us toward Biblical liberty…
Let us commit our all unto His supreme sovereignty
Along faith that braces our redemption’s security.
God assures us His peace despite uncertainty of the future
By His gift of life everlasting against hell’s torture…
Let us serve Him sincerely around His pasture
Along faith that keeps us sharing His loving gesture.
God assures His peace despite attacks of disobedience
By His mercy lifting us in our ministerial diligence…
Let us believe Him, trusting His miracles’ resurgence
Along faith that guards us against humanistic expedience.
God assures His peace despite threats of curses
By His covenant confirming His immutable promises…
Let us depend on Him while running our races
Along faith that upholds us in overcoming sin-causing forces.
God assures His peace despite guilt of transgression
By His forgiveness packed by His compassion
Let us abide in Him under His supervision
Along faith that conquers iniquity-burdening oppression.
