faith in foot fall

lose mind in the scuff that is underfoot
trust soot can be outrun
in dreams' cascade, burdens shun -
the art of wild abandon

Thanks Ink! I was introduced to it via a contest last year and wrote this whilst walking in the woods and feeling like I was walking off the weight of the world :) I love the art of wild abandon <3

Quite a liberating verse here LG, with very innovative wording, still the sense of letting go is palpable, onwards and upwards into wild abandon, nothing like a new breezy self, to help outrun that old soot, A fresh start on Easter Sunday, cheers David

Haha I love that 'nothing like a new breezy self to outrun that old soot'! When in wild abandon there's no looking back :) today I'll translate that to walking the dog in a wooded area despite the storm haha go me! Brian's contest required a short (which I've counterbalanced this morning with a very long for Ink's lol) thanks for your insights - always enjoyable and expansive on the theme :)
