Faith, Hope, Charity At Work
Granted by God Almighty, the great Lord, compassionate Saviour…
…Faith, hope and charity* are precious gifts, indeed divine
Highlighting His goodness---abundant, patient, wondrous
While revealing His mighty grace, steadfastly at work.
With Christ’s imputed righteousness that has instilled faith in me
Heavenly hope I possess gearing my vibrant transformation
Braced up by His charity, verily assuring me eternal life
Joyously beautifying my relationship with Him.
Midst challenges in my steward-saint-soldier-student roles
My Scripture-propped faith God empowers over adversaries’ attack
Cheering up my sanctified hope for triumphant worship
Strengthened by His mercy-filled charity as to others I reach out.
With faith prevailing, I trust my Master, exalting His name
Along reverberating hope to overcome evil’s deceit
Sharing glorious charity that forever reigns, asserting “God is love.”
*1Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
