Faith

My heart stays open 

In your tender care

We’ve lost our connection

But I feel you there



I may sit alone

But certainly not lonely 

My heart beats with yours 

And with yours only



Although your heart is closed

I stand firm and believe

It will open up to me again 

And you will entrust me with the key



I know what I ask won’t come easy

Supply the faith and I’ll give you the reason

Journey with me away from the dark

Return to me an open heart
