FAIRY FUGUE
We are dreams of God
images in space-time quarks
roles to play on stages
pulling curtains we haste
our costumes fall apart
Stitches were air Undone
¥
Airy was the Fairy
her costume daisy hazy
with haste she closed cracked panes
unkempt garden her playground
time a sure illusion
Beds of acorns were just Too Hard
¥
Too Hard wooden words Fell
illusions had to magnetise bells
she built a playground with swings
at dew panes she longingly waited
denim and leather costumed with glitter
She Sucked air sour and Sweet
¥
Sweet was his thick mane of Hair
bare breasted he glittered seaweed waves
no longer could he contain himself
swinging from tree to tree a Tarzan to see
Bells were his Buddha gongs
Words fell onto her acorns fast as a Blast
¥
Air sewed the stitches with Raindrops
making costumes with feathers and grass
windows had no curtains bamboo or chiffon
together their roles became missions
quarks forming ladybird and spider
God loved to Dream about Fairies
¥
Dreaming HE pulled us Closer
spiders could no longer hide
insect and human roles merged
into Tower Moments windows shattered
feathers gleamed messages of Hope no dope
Stitching raindrops Two became One
to the Power of Zero
