Fair Winds and Following Seas

Could it be everything happens for a reason,
Or is it something one usually would say.
Kindred spirits that have roamed
Through space and time,
Sharing moments and a history of past lifetimes.
Always by chance our paths happened to meet,
Always ending with just a memory.
A memory that endures through lifetimes,
Precious memories that linger in the
Backroads of one’s mind.
And now our time has come again,
It greets us as a long lost friend.
And for now we’ll travel happily
Along the fair winds and following seas.
