Thank you, Sara B., for the nice review. Well, I could hear that truck coming from miles down the road and for miles going past the house and it was interrupted only by the sound of another truck with an entirely different sound coming from the opposite direction, but I enjoyed those few moments in time and sometimes that is all we need. Ohhh that contrast in the ending! How I wish to live in the solitude of the nature but the noise of reality sometimes gets too loud and we are pulled back from our moments of mirth.. i felt my heart floating in the first three lines and then banggggg! Just as I was enjoying the quietude of the first three lines of your poem, the din of the truck silences Nature in the fourth. Pity there isn't a fifth line, the truck would have passed by then.
