I like how you put going down the staircase as failure. I've heard some people say going down on an elevator is like failure. I enjoyed your poem.

Susan, Thanks a lot for your keen observation and compliment. I used staircase for symbolism as my failures have never been so sudden. They were results of procedures. But the fact that you enjoyed my poem makes me feel good. Thanks indeed for your encouragement.
