Failed Test
Now I am sleeping
The sleep of the dead
Laying in a coffin
Instead of a bed
My wife kept saying
I should have the test
I never listened
I thought I knew best
A finger in an anus
Just a simple poke
What I thought was funny
Was far from a joke
My cancer undetected
Consumed me real fast
Now instead of a future
I have a tragic past
Heed my warning
Don't do what I did
If you take this test
You avoid a coffin with a lid
I like many men fail to have regular checkups. Fortunately this is not my story but if I don't take my health decision seriously it could be. It is time for us to smarten up, book those tests! No one has ever really died from embarrasment.
