Fads and Fashions

Fads, fashions’ step brother, an also-ran, Surviving on: if she can me too can, Take padded pants that lend manhood a spell, Lifting of butts to lift sagging morale, Be it man or woman, panty or pant, See-through is fine, fine a shrunken garment, She remains all obsessed with breasts and butts, As he with body-hugging bravo guts! If God’s failed to bestow, worry no more, There are doctors and designers galore, Fashions’ sole job seems to be to distract From what lacks, say between the two ears’ tract, Some may even eat boots were it a fad, And wear a spade on neck as macho aid! ____________________________________________ Satire | 09.10.10, revised April 2022 |
