Fading Beauty

Dying
youthfulness,
tired
eyes;
laughter lines,
ripples on the pond,
yesterday's
forgotten dreams;
Fading beauty
drifts away..
forever
to illume
sweet memory

As if looking into a mirror at the end of the day.....it is all there in those lines, but if we are fortunate,...the memory will, indeed, be sweet.
