Fading Away

I stand alone Weary whithering Like a fading bloom Deep within a forest Shrouded in darkness Beneath the towering trees That took my daylight away I'm suffocating I cannot breath Smothered by creepers And fallen leaves Forgotten worthless Void of love and tender care I let out a primal scream My pain so much That goes unheard I am pecked clawed by scavenging Carrion bird Life is a heavy weight chained to my heart That curses my being And is tearing me apart.
