Facing the Storm...

! Hark !....the bell toll's
as we enter uncharted sea's
beware the bow and stern to crash
or face the death of me...

Unfurl that canvas mid-sail
begone,must leave these storms
towering waves from winds a gale
calm waters must reborn...

This wooden float be wary
of rocks and coral reefs
must not be over daring
or to the bottom will be me
becoming food for crabs and fishes
and other creatures deep
not quite ready to meet my mate
the mermaid of my sleep

Those howling winds
as trident thrust
to bring my vessle down
avoid i must, and in my trust
beholding oceans crown.....
