Fabulous Flora and Fauna

Beautiful blue buddleia
brimming with bejeweled butterflies
which flutter frequently from branch to branch

Fabulous freesias
sensationally scented
perfumed perfection

Ruby red rambling roses
dainty daffodils and jaunty jonquils
colourful crocus and charming celandines
blooms bring breathtaking beauty
glorifying Gertrude’s garden
horticultural heaven!

Michael Ellis March 26, 2021 at 2:28 AM A Literation has never sounded better. This is a consonant buffet, an enchanting sound poem with more dips than Dr. Seuss. Line 3 you can delete (which) and go with the -Gerund VERB- FLUTTERING frequently from.....But what do I know...Beautiful as is...I know you turned heads in the contest...This poem blossoms & Blooms boldly......Michael E.
