Eyes Without Beauty
Use perception when staring at eyes
without beauty, they hide compassion;
look at eyes that show no pretension,
they are real and tell no hurtful lies.
Eyes without beauty are the mirror of pure evil,
such cold eyes laid on me were too scary;
I held no secret other than being a fool:
words and gestures were nowhere near reality!
If honesty and truth and go hand in hand,
why be so untrue, swear and pretend?
If eyes without beauty would only smile,
they'll take away all ugliness and look fine!
I'm sure that someone I won't mention has fallen
for eyes without beauty and has regretted it bitterly,
he has carved an abyss deeper than any memory;
millions of tears won't be enough to fill it with pain!
