Eyes of True Love

Staring at the walls of an empty room Is there still time for me to dream Of a life that use to be My head hung low My heart all confused Is there time for me to breath Will I always be alone I may not be the man you dream But I could be the friend you adore As I long for another beginning The end Is all I see There was a time a smile was so easy to find Now in my pain the frowns always lurk I wish I had a hand to hold But nowadays they seem so cold When I reach for anyone They all back away Am I to damaged to be repaired Or is the cover what you judge me by In times of change I may seem lost But someday I shall find all I seek I am a mere person that wishes to be seen In the eyes of true love.
